2D Illustration | Background Design | Personal Work

A 2D background study developed after a workshop with illustrator Katan Walker, exploring a hybrid workflow: building the scene's structure and perspective in Blender, then painting over it in Photoshop and Procreate to achieve a hand-drawn final look.

The setting is a rockabilly restaurant — all neon, vinyl booths, and the kind of place that plays Stray Cats on repeat. The exercise was as much about workflow experimentation as it was about illustration, pushing the limits of how 3D tools can serve a 2D illustration aesthetic without flattening the warmth of a hand-painted scene.
